2 - Schools

Most ministries have their own schools which prepare the civil servants for definite jobs. The ministerial schools preparing for the jobs of engineer or of technicians are the following:

• Polytechnic, said school "X ": the pupils X, recruited by the big bodies of the State, follow trainings then specific for aforementioned bodies of the State, assured by schools under tutelage of the interested ministries called schools of application
• Grande cole of Civil Engineering : form the engineers of bridges and roadways
• The upper national school of the mines of Paris: form the engineers of mines
• National school of public works : form the engineers of the public works of the State
• National school of the rural genius of forestry authority : form the engineers of the rural genius of forestry authority and the engineers of jobs of forestry authority
• National school of genius of the water and of environment : form the engineers in hydraulic applied
• Engineers' national schools of farm works: form engineers of farm works
• The upper national school of aeronautics and of space 
• The upper national school of advanced techniques : form of the engineers in domains naval, mechanical, nuclear, chemical and electronic and related
• Engineers' upper national school of aircraft manufacturing : form of the civil or military multidisciplinary engineers
• The upper national school of the engineers of studies and techniques of weaponry
• National school of geographical sciences : form of the engineers geographers, engineers of geographical and cartographic jobs of the State and the technicians land surveyors
• National school of the technicians of the equipment 
• National school of civil aviation : form the engineers of control of aeronautics, the engineers electronics engineers of the systems of the air safety and the technicians of study and of working of civil aviation
• National school of the meteorology : form the engineers of the meteorology and the engineers of jobs of the meteorology, the upper technicians of working meteorology and the upper technicians of course of study instruments
• The upper national schools of industrial techniques and of mines
• Institute of training of the personnels of the ministry of Agriculture for the technicians.
