The anxious hospital practitioners for their future
The Writing Published 1/21/2010 Updated 1/22/2010
The number of posts of hospital budg t s practitioners (PH) augmented by 4 % in 2008.
This figure, revealed by the national Centre of management of the hospital and personal practitioners of direction of the hospital civil service, during symposium Statutes and contracts , organised on January 14th, 2010 by the national Interlabour union of PH (INPH), cannot however hide the worrying demographic situation of profession.
At the beginning of 2009, the rate of statuary vacancy of posts came to 22,3 % (1), even though the medium age of PH was of 57 years, announcing many departures in retirement.
For INPH, this phenomenon is to charge up weaknesses of status. If we are to believe an opinion poll accomplished at the end of December on the site of the Interlabour union (2), 70 % professionals think that their status is not delightful enough for the youngest. Facing the challenges which are brewing, it is necessary to update him without taboo, by constructing not monolithic careers and by revalorizing wages , estimates the president of the INPH, Rachel Bocher.
Therefore, 68 % professions claims to be compared to institution on one hand by variable remuneration, based on objectives defined against contract. This possibility, opened by du July 21st, 2009 (art. 19) and reserved for introducing jobs a particular difficulty in being endowed , is introduced by the Direction of the hospitalisation and of the organisation of care as a means to reinforce the attractivit of careers. But looking forward to the implementing decree, currently in debate, PH get worried for their independence and the respect for the deontological rules of their profession.
